The Beyond Ensemble works with K-12 schools, higher education, and cultural institutions. Some of our partnerships and projects are in Vermont, New York City, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, New Mexico, Maine, South Carolina, Singapore, and more!
Schools
Our team of seasoned, professional theatre-makers transform the classroom into a space of discovery, creativity, and collaboration. Using the tools of theatre—storytelling, movement, performance, writing, and ensemble-building—we challenge traditional classroom dynamics and invite experiential, personal, immediate, and joyous learning experiences. We work in K-12 public rural and urban schools, private schools, boarding schools, and international schools.
Theatre Projects
We devise and create theatre projects in collaboration with schools, community organizations, artists, and nonprofits. Our projects aim to lift youth voices, connect people across generations, engage with community needs, and use theatre as a catalyst for opening up conversations.
Beyond the Page Program at Middlebury College
Founded in 2019 by Craig Maravich in partnership with The Bread Loaf School of English, this program collaborates across Middlebury College and The Bread Loaf School of English.
